Kitchen remodel.Painting cabinets high gloss white, installing a shiny Perfect Girl beige marble type tile for flooring, looking at a dark gray Registered User countertop. Also hoping to do 1 x 1 light blue glass mosiac tile backsplash Joined: Wednesday, 12th of May 2010, 20:07:06 and paint the walls a corresponding blue color. But not really sure if all Posts: 1339 of that clashes with the beige floor.Should l be going in a different Viewed 3960 times direction? Also, the rest of the main floor is a deep gold tan with red
accents and mahogany furniture. It is pretty dark.Would the kitchen clash
with the rest of the house?Opinions? The only thing that is definite is
the white color of the cabinets and the beige tile floor, everything else
is unpurchased. Thanks in advance!! Kitchen remodel. Painting cabinets
high gloss white, installing a shiny beige marble type tile for flooring,
looking at a dark gray countertop. Also hoping to do 1 x 1 light blue
glass mosiac tile backsplash and paint the walls a corresponding blue
color. But not really sure if all of that clashes with the beige floor.
Should l be going in a different direction? Also, the rest of the main
floor is a deep gold tan (which is a Behr paint called Harvest Brown
710D-4) with Burgandy/Maroon accents and dark furniture. Would the kitchen
clash with the rest of the house? Opinions? The only thing that is definite
is the white color of the cabinets and the beige tile floor, everything
else is unpurchased. Thanks in advance!! Add: The tan paint extends
from the foyer, through the dining room and living room. The kitchen and
half bath are the only things on the floor that are not the Harvest
Brown. Can l get exact examples of a color choice for the kitchen? What
about the half bath? The tan is a Behr paint called Harvest Brown
710D-4) with Burgandy/Maroon accents. The tan paint extends from the
foyer, through the dining room and living room. The kitchen and half bath
are the only things on the floor that are not the Harvest Brown. If l were
to go in the sage/moss green direction, can l get exact examples of a
color choice for the kitchen? There is so many different shades, l can
never tell well enough to match.Right now my half bath is white, but l
would like to paint that too.Should l paint both the kitchen and bath
green?I am kind of lost there too.

I think consider the colors of the rest of the house, I'd go in Bambi a different direction than the grey counter tops since you have the beige Registered User flooring. Consider a counter top in the beige family that looks similar Joined: Wednesday, 5th of May 2010, 11:34:40 to ur flooring but also has some white & chocolate veining in it to tie Posts: 357 not only with ur white cabinets & flooring, but also the rest of the dark Viewed 14003 times rich colors in ur house by the dark chocolate color. And I'd paint the
walls a sage green or dark moss color to help the counters, cabinets &
floor really pop. Instead of the blue mosiac tiles, consider mosiac tiles
in the green color family.

Honestly speaking you have too much going on already! sexy mama if you have white cabinet stay away from beige stay within the cool Registered User colours ,opt for a light grey counter top since you are putting blue tiles Joined: Monday, 7th of June 2010, 01:35:45 on the back splash ,go for a white & gray floor finish instead. unless Posts: 1289 this kitchen is closed you should go this way, but if it is an open Viewed 2183 times concept it will clash with the warm tones then you must reconsider the
kitchen cabinets & go with a beige instead, in that case you will need
warm colour , like red, browns , beige. Get some paint chips & put them
together side by side & you will see the difference or if you like a
fabric pick the colours out of that .

I would stick with a beige countertop as well to keep it jigglybum<3 nutural in case you decide to sell your home. Then I would incorporate Registered User your other colors , tan and red as accent colors, such as paint, curtains, Joined: Tuesday, 1st of June 2010, 02:06:54 placemats, floor rugs, chair pads, etc. Also, I would do the backsplash in Posts: 1897 the gold/tan color. You could still incorporate blue into your Viewed 10255 times accessories.
